PLAYREADING FOR ALL AT THE EDGE

STARTS Wednesday 6th November | 7.30pm – 9.30pm
A monthly play reading in The Dressing Room Café – open to anyone over the age of 16. Part play reading, part discussion, part whatever the group want to make it. Plays will be chosen initially to link up with an event at The Edge, or in the wider world – but after that we will be open to suggestions from the group.
CHORLTON GUITAR GROUP

Monday (once a month) | 6.30pm – 9.30pm
The group meet once a month to play ensemble music specifically arranged for classical guitars. Each session is fun and focused and structured by the conductor with the aim of bringing out a best in each player regardless of experience or ability.

A voice workout for professional actors, focusing on the voice as a dynamic instrument: each session will include exercises in relaxation, control of breath energy, vocal power and articulation, using a variety of texts, both poetry and prose.
THE READING ROOMS

STARTS: Wednesday 25th September | 7pm – 8.30pm
A space for readers to share a personal and in-depth experience of text while benefitting from sharing reactions and perspectives with the group. Readers are encouraged to read mindfully, observing their reactions and reflecting on the various emotions, ideas, memories that each story triggers.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited
