Congratulations to our Dressing Room Café trainees on their graduation last week. It was great to celebrate their achievements! We train adults with learning disabilities in hospitality over a 12 week programme. After they have completed their training we signpost trainees to other opportunities and some have even gone onto employment and volunteering positions with other organisations.
The Dressing Room is the café and arts space at The Edge and also a dedicated catering and restaurant training facility for adults with learning difficulties. Trainees have the opportunity to learn skills which can be applied in a real working environment and also transferred and applied to other areas of life.

Congratulations also to our new Learning Mentor, Emily who recently took up the post in the café.
Remember: Every brew, lunch or piece of cake you buy in our Café goes towards our work with adults with learning disabilities.
