We are passionate about what we do. But we need your help.
There are many ways that you can support The Edge and everything that we do here.
…alongside the excellent work on stage, there’s good stuff happening throughout the organisation, with a participation programme as inclusive as it is ambitiousRob Martin, Time Out
Because we are a charity, every time you buy a ticket, sign up to a course or buy a coffee in our café, you are supporting our work with vulnerable adults and young people.
By making a regular monthly gift through Edge Mates, your support will enable us to make more stories with more people. It means that we can continue to offer a diverse, world class theatre programme while keeping ticket costs down and being as accessible as possible.
You can choose the amount you give us but below is an idea of how what your money can help us. Don’t forget that if you are a UK tax payer any donation you make can be increased by 25% at no cost to yourself by providing us with consent to claim Gift Aid.
£5/month or £60 a year provides weekly refreshments for Expressive Edge.
One of the many benefits of Expressive Edge for participants is the opportunity to meet and socialize in the breaks, making new friends and sharing their experiences.
£10/ month or £120 a year helps a homeless person to participate in a theatre project.
Our theatre programme with homeless people and people at risk of homelessness allows people to develop new skills and increase their confidence by getting involved with regular rehearsals and working towards a public production.
£25/month or £240 a year enables a child with Down’s Syndrome to attend our weekly youth theatre group
Our weekly theatre group is a fun way to develop confidence, self esteem, social, speech and language and communication skills for young people with Down’s Syndrome
£50/month or £600 a year contributes towards the cost of training for adults with learning disabilities in our cafe The Dressing Room
The Dressing Room not only a lovely café, but also a dedicated catering and restaurant training facility for adults with learning difficulties. Trainees have the opportunity to learn skills which can be applied in a real working environment and also transferred and applied to other areas of life.
