The Dressing Room Café in Chorlton, Manchester is the café and arts space at The Edge and also a dedicated catering and restaurant training facility for adults with learning disabilities. Trainees have the opportunity to learn skills which can be applied in a real working environment and also transferred and applied to other areas of life.
A space to relax with a coffee while you wait for a class, grab a pre-theatre meal, or simply relax with a piece of cake while enjoying the surroundings, we hope that The Dressing Room Café is an inspiring and tranquil haven.
With thanks to funding from The Big Lottery Fund and The Oglesby Charitable Trust, The Dressing Room is also a dedicated catering and restaurant training facility for adults with learning disabilities.

We are delighted to be part of the Breastfeeding-Friendly Manchester Scheme.
About the scheme: The scheme supports breastfeeding mothers across the city – making a real difference. By providing welcoming and supportive environments, venues who are a part of the scheme help to reduce the barriers that can prevent mothers from breastfeeding.
It’s great to see other cafés in Chorlton and across Manchester getting involved in this scheme too.
