Every TYF has a different line up of quality acts, and there’s always sweet delights and the writing competition – with prizes!

TYF have been entertaining audiences since 2015 in Chorlton and beyond.

February Line-up including:

Comedian Tom Taylor “Wave after wave of funny… a genuine joy” The Scotsman

Back by popular request, Maynard Flipflap is a cabaret act who is slightly bonkers. Last time at TYF – he balanced a shoe on his head and squeezed through a coat hanger! He will no doubt offer more cabaret shenanigans and hysterical tricks!

Honey We three – beautiful sounds from this young, talented band. Lay your head down in the meadows and let the heady folk harmonies wash over you. Inspired by American folk and traditional Irish music, this captivating blend of intricate harmonies and soothing rhythm of double bass leaves the soul refreshed!

Shylarks is a friendly, informal weekly singing group, open to all adults and led by Faith Watson and a Teaching Team made up of members of the group. We sing a variety of songs, all unaccompanied and in harmony. We’re not a performance group – we just sing for the pure joy of it and, in our group, there’s no such thing as a wrong note – just a new harmony! New members are always welcome!

Rob Steventon – poet – is the founder of Punk in Drublic Poetry, a night that sees the violent collision of Poetry and Comedy and donates all its door fees to Mustard Tree Homelessness charity. Award winning poet Dominic Berry said of Rob “Rob Steventon’s words are inventive, surprising, political, accessible, relatable and often really laugh-out-loud funny.”

All hosted by singing act Doolally. And don’t forget the writing competition with prizes!
