FAQS/ EXTRA INFORMATION

1. Do I have to sign up to the whole course?

Yes, unfortunately we don’t off these courses on a drop in basis

2. I have never played before – can I come along?

We would recommend enrolling on our Beginners Uke course. To sign up to be the first to hear about when this goes on sale, email bookings@edgetheatre.co.uk

3. I have quite a bit of experience – is this still the class for me?

Yes, absolutely!

4. Where should I come on the day?

When in The Edge turn right, then follow the sweet sound of ukulele music to the end of the corridor on the ground floor! (studio 1)

5. What do I need to bring with me?

Just a ukulele! Everything else is provided, though a tuner is always useful!

7. What other facilities do you have?

We have a café at The Edge called “The Dressing Room” which serves up delicious hot food, fresh salads and homemade cakes – as well as delicious hot and cold drinks. The café is also a training centre for adults with learning disabilities. And because The Edge is a charity, you know that every penny you spend in the café is going back into the work that we do with children and vulnerable adults.

8. Can I just turn up on the night and pay for the course then?

Yes, not a problem although it is very easy to sign up online.

9. Does it matter if I miss a class?

No, I will keep you a copy of the week’s work and do my best to bring you up to speed. You will, however, make better progress if you attend every class.
