How We Support Artists

This ongoing programme will provide Manchester theatre makers and participatory arts practitioners with opportunities to develop their work and their practice in one of Manchester’s most welcoming and nurturing venues.
– Residencies for emerging or mid career theatre companies based in Manchester – providing free audition, meetings, rehearsals and performance space, marketing/box office and mentoring.
– Scratch nights, script in hand performances of new work from writers.
– An Evening With – events with established artists.
– Workshops for actors and new practitioners in Participatory Arts Practice: Led by the Edge’s Artistic Director: Making theatre with vulnerable adults and children.
