ABOUT

Join Barbara and husband Bernard for a sing-song around the piano at one of their legendary candlelit suppers.

Barbara lives in an effortless era, when tea came from a pot, the milk was poured first and crumpets were for butter, not jam.

But this is the present and it’s all got a little more complicated…

“Barbara is a heartfelt, beautiful, deeply tender tribute” The Play’s The Thing

Barbara and Bernard will transport you, their guests, to a bygone era with music, polite conversation and exceptional hosting. Through warmth, affection and humour, the lid is lifted on what it means to care for someone you love when they lose their way.

There will be singing. There will be crumpets.

This is a public sharing of ‘Barbara’ as part of the show’s development. Audiences will be asked for feedback to support the future development of the show.
