The LIVEwire Poetry team have been producing nationwide events since 2016 – earning a reputation as one of the most vital and dynamic producers on the UK’s thriving scene.

From the back rooms of pubs to sold-out theatre shows; from music festivals to libraries; their events continue to entertain and enthral.

Salena Godden is an award-winning writer, novelist, poet, memoirist and broadcaster, whose debut novel ‘Mrs Death Misses Death’ won the Indie Book Award for Fiction and the People’s Book Prize.

Molly Naylor is a poet, scriptwriter, performer and director. Her stories and plays have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and she has performed at festivals and events all over the world.

Nafeesa Hamid is a poet, playwright, educator, performer, and director. Pakistan-born and Birmingham-bred, she uses the intersectionality of her identities to inform her work. Her debut poetry collection ‘Besharam’ was highly commended in the Forward Prizes 2019.
