ABOUT

“By accident.
Most strange, bountiful fortune
Hath mine enemies brought to this shore.”

Manchester Active Youth Theatre’s exciting modern interpretation of William Shakespeare’s final play. A story of revenge, power and magic full of incredible music and movement, this show promises to be much more than your typical Shakespeare production.

Prospero, a powerful sorcerer, lives in isolation on a desert island with his daughter Miranda, exiled from Milan by his power-hungry brother, Antonio, and the King of Naples, Alonso. When their boat sails by the island, he whips up a magical storm to enact his revenge on those who did him wrong. Nothing is as it seems in this mystical adventure.
