ABOUT
When Julie’s Dad John died in 2013, he left behind an old electric blanket box full of old diaries and notebooks spanning back to the 1940s. After filming her last scenes on Coronation Street later that year, she took herself off to the Lakes- just her, her dog and her late Dad’s words.
The result was this tender, funny, moving one-woman show, based on her Dad’s extraordinary words, about growing up, words and music, of rising above the preordained circumstances of your life, and the healing power of daftness.
